Swans on the lake

Path repairs
Patching works for lake path and path to hockey pitch are due to start next Monday after all the tree works have been finished by Foremost. You may see some preparation works start this week.

Litter-pick Saturday, 22nd April 2017.
The litter pickers met outside the Community Hall, Goldwater Lodge at 10.00am for a couple of hours of litter-picking around North Meadow, the woods, playing fields and anywhere else around the park where litter collects. This shows a few of the pickers with the bags of collected rubbish.

A mini photo album has been found on the lake path near the Waitrose turn-off. If the owner rings 01483 714096, they can recover it.

Tom, Dick and Harry. New residents on the Lake

Keep your dog on a lead round Goldsworth Park Lake
The information and by-law signs state that, where signposted, dogs must be kept on leads. Signs have been put up informing dog walkers that their dogs must be kept on leads around and within 25m of the lake. Out-door gym
The out-door gym has now been installed alongside the children’s play ground on the north side of the lake. Each piece of equipment has instructions for use with recommended durations.
